I believe that Donald Trump believes that he is a natural king. His inauguration was really a coronation, and his family are his successors and lineage. This deep seated belief would explain a lot. It would explain his unwavering belief in his election victory of 2020. He has his own heraldic crest with the Romanov Russian double eagle. He might be right. After all, he is extremely wealthy, is healthy strong and good looking. He is born with superior genes. He is tall. His family are tall — ‘bigly”. He believes himself to be quite intelligent. He believes himself a natural leader, a natural commander of men.
And he has a large and successful family, the Trump Organization, who are familiar working and living together. As Ivanka tweeted on January 7, 2021, “This moment calls for healing and reconciliation. We must revitalize the sacred bonds that bind us together as one national family.”
I sympathize with Ivanka. And I feel for Mr. Trump.
Unfortunately, we are not a national family. And the bonds which bind us are the imperfect system of laws and people that make up our Constitutional form of government. We are divided geographically into States where we are represented at the Nation by our Senators and Representatives. They, are our ‘family’ so to speak. Their job is to listen to their constituents and to determine what the will of the people in their geographical region is all about.
Mr. Trump was impeached on December 18, 2019 for abuse of office. I don’t really know much about all the things he did, but he is carrying a record. Mr. Trump was permanently banished from Twitter on January 8, 2020. Mr. Trump is recovering from COVID19.

The March For Trump rally will not be an organized march from the Ellipse, according to the permit approved by the Department of Interior. The organization stated in the permit that some participants may leave their rally to attend other rallies at the United States Capitol to hear the results of Congressional certification of the Electoral College count.

This is a key point that will come up at the trial — There was no provision for a large march scheduled, yet T. during his speech calls for a March down Pennsylvania Ave to the Capitol Dome. So at the very least we have a problem. 150,000 people in an unplanned march.
Silent Majority founder James Epley was scheduled to speak at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. each day. The group said this will be a static rally not involving any marches, and estimates between a crowd-size of 250-500. Women for America First will hold a “March for Trump” to demand transparency and protect election integrity.
The demonstration will feature speakers from Women for America First, Congressional Representatives, Roger Stone, Julio Gonzalez, Rudy Giuliani, Diamond and Silk. Trump has tweeted that he plans to be there, as well, though he is not listed on the group’s list of speakers.
A final permit was amended for the Women for America First rally on Wednesday on the Ellipse. The amendment changes the organizer’s projected attendance from 5,000 to 30,000 people.
It was the day specified in the U.S. Constitution for the Certification of the Electoral College.

3.The Pennsylvania Avenue March

At this point, there was no “WE”, please correct me if I’m wrong, but I very much doubt that Mr. Trump accompanied this large mob to the Capitol. This was his crowd, this was his event. He organized the whole thing with his money and the money that he raised and the social media that he controlled.
On January 5, 2021 Eric Trump tweeted, “Never thought I would have 150,000 people sing me happy birthday on the National Mall in Washington D.C!”
The next day, he tweeted, “We are the party of Law & Order – prosecute anyone who crosses that line to the fullest extent of the law.”
Those are his people, his “national family”. So tell me, of those 150,000 people singing him Happy Birthday — how many of them walked down Pennsylvania Avenue?And where was he — leading the march?

Apparently the Gadsden “Don’t Tread on Me Flag” is used by ultra right wing groups. It is also used by regular students of American history.
4. Destination
What was organized for them when they reached the Capitol Dome? Who was listed as the speakers? Was there an agenda? How did devolve into an mass mob attack? There was no podium, no speakers at the Capitol? Only barricades? It is important to find out all the event permits that day, and what kind of Event 101 planning was done, and what was announced and advertised.

I hope she will get some kind of Veteran’s benefits and as an Air Force veteran she maybe entitled to a full military funeral with a flag. Because she was a soldier and she served our country. Not because she was part of the Trump organization. I have read that she is now termed a ‘domestic terrorist’, and unfortunately that is accurate.

But I don’t think it was her fault. I think she was lied to, manipulated, deceived, and led to die by the Trump Organization and its commander-in-chief Mr. Donald J. Trump. And the very next day, he has washed his hands of the entire affair. Not his responsibility. He had nothing to do with it.
He is out playing golf. He has his alibi. Not in a million years would he take any responsibility.
Or blame all the right wing news organizations and propaganda mills churning out lies.
And she is not alone. How many other Trump supporters were in that mob on that fateful day?
It appears to me that it was a one-way trip down Pennsylvania Avenue with nothing scheduled at the destination — the U.S. Capitol — except mayhem.
5. Encounter
The initial response by the Capitol police was tepid and uncertain. Badly out manned with unclear rules of engagement.
However, the response that occurred within the people’s house was excellent. Not one VIP was lost. 100% protection. One can easily see other outcomes. If the chambers had been breached, we could easily have lost several senators and representatives.
It is extemely unfortunate that lethal force was used. But the doctrine of Imminent jeopardy provides a defence of force used in self-defence.
Not only that, but Nancy Pelosi was able to resume the Electoral Certification! And by the end of a very long night, JR Biden was confirmed as President.
Their attempt to disrupt the Electoral Certification, commit mayhem, and insurrection was a failure. They did succeed in raising attention and getting publicity to their cause. But even in this regards, right wing propaganda mills blamed everything on Antifada. So even their cause and the purpose of their march was muddied and lost.
Frankly, from looking at videos and photos and reading reports, it sounds more like a drunken brawl. Like something you would see at a soccer game when the fans explode when their team loses. Most of them were probably drunk and/or on drugs. A bunch of sore losers and poor sports.
6. Recommendation Action and Punishement.
There must a thorough criminal investigation like we had after the Boston Marathon bombings or the Oklahoma City bombing or the Nashville Christmas day bombing. We need to know who did it, how were they organized and communicated. What role did social media play?
There needs to be a careful breakdown of the event planning. At the very least there was complete incompetence, a lack of command. And there needs to be an understanding of the role that Donald Trump played and others in the Trump Organization. Who were the outside actors? Who got paid and how much?
Mr. Trump needs to be tried by the US Senate for Sedition – conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch.
Remember this guy has a record. He is a repeat offender. This aint his first rodeo.
At the very minimum, as President, commander-in-chief of the US and DC national guard, head “Donald J Trump for President, Inc.”, Leader of the Free World, member of Republican Party, human being, etc. — Mr. Donald J. Trump showed extremely poor judgement in organizing, speaking — LEADING.
And listening to him after January Sixth, just reinforces my opinion that he shows no contrition. He sounds to my ears like a hardened criminal. I believe he still poses a clear and present danger to this Republic, and the American people.
It hurts me to write these words. And I know that many people disagree with me. But what occurred on January Sixth was not a peaceful protest march. It was a planned march on the Capitol Dome with an outcome that directly attacked the Constitution of the USA. Was that an accident, something unintended, a rally that spun out of control? This will be determined (if there is a transition to the new administration of JR Biden) at the Senate Trial of DJ Trump for High Treason (and misdemeanors).
The rules for judgement may not be ‘reasonable doubt’ but whether he poses a ‘clear and present danger’ to the US Constitution. This would be the approach I would take if I were the US Constitution. I would want to err on the safe side.
